Janus returns yet again
Today was the first full day where I didn't have the nasty cough. I still have a little cough once in a while but I am back in the saddle again. Hope you all didn't forget about me.
So lemme see, updates updates updates.
Our house is getting remodelled. For people that were wondering about the offhand remodeling remark I made a few days ago. We are ripping out the carpet, having the place painted, bathroom being redone...all that sort of stuff. My father in law is out of the country for a while soon, so we are staying at his place for a month. This will allow us to function without contractors getting in the way of our normal life and we won't be in their way. In a month or so, God willing, things will be back to normal after it starts.
Don't worry I will still be blogging, I am not dying or something.
Today was my third time running video for church, and my first time on my own. Eric was nice enough to set me up so I didn't freak out and mess things up too badly. I don't relax though when I do video, but I figure that is a good thing, it keeps me alert. Er...practice will make better I am sure.
My wife and a few friends have been telling me I need to get a facebook page or something, I am considering it. I can barely keep up with the blog with my busy scheduale of ...um...playing Playstation and sleeping. Besides I am always slow for change, if it wasn't for my friend Andrea, I wouldn't even be blogging yet.
Perhaps I will who knows. Anyway it is good to be back.

I've been looking at Facebook and considering it, another highly recommended site is Squidoo. A Squidoo lens can generate traffic to your blog.
I think that many of the social networking sites can benefit,if you are the kind of person who can generate interest in your person. I find that hard to do, write about myself. If I do, it's unlikely to be flattering...
If you try out Facebook and find it is doing anything for your net presence and traffic, let me know
Glad that cough is getting better Janus. I hope it continues to get better. :)
Getting your house remodelled sounds very chaotic. But at least you have somewhere else to stay while the work is getting done. It can be like a wee holiday for you.
You'll be an expert at running the church video before you know it.

I am torn really, I like traffic as in people that actually want to read what I write but I don't want traffic of non-readers and viagra ads. So if it is real traffic that would be great.

It can be like a holiday that we pay for and that we still work during :P, we are just in a different house really. I get to be with Carp and Sunny too though.
Expert? I dunno about that, I am happy as long as no one screams and runs up to take over because I am screwing it up so bad. As long as the average person gets stuff from the service and can't notice my mistakes I guess I should be content...
Janus - We really need to get your playstation updated. You're missing out on all the new stuff.

Neo, I am an old fashioned type of guy. And cheap too.
I got curious and joined Facebook. I don't think it does anything except put your name in another place. They ask a lot of personal questions too. I hate those.
On the other hand, what you really should do is join Technorati if you haven't already. I have already added you to my Technorati favorites, and the more links the better. Actually you have a Technorati authority of 7 which ain't bad.
Sorry, I just have this need to explore all the ways of blog-hyping there are.
But I will say that today Technorati has sent Rollo lots of traffic.
